So there are basically two types of microdermabrasion machines. Crystal, and Diamond. Within those categories, both machines have two sub-types the more common machine used by aestheticians, and the more aggressive machine used by medical doctors. For our purposes, we will be discussing the machines used most frequently by aestheticians. These microdermabrasion machine are the most common, less dangerous, and can be just as effective with only a few more treatments. The microdermabrasion machines known as crystal micro dermabrasion machines were the first on the scene. The newer and improved microdermabrasion machine use diamond heads and have proven to be the better choice when comparing the two types of microdermabrasion machines. The Diamond Microdermabrasion machines achieve the same results without the potentially dangerous aluminum oxide crystals. The results for me were noticeable after the first treatment of using diamond microdermabrasion. After the first year of receiving diamond microdermabrasion treatments, I noticed a dramatic improvement in the health and vitality of my skin due to dermabrasion treatment. Ensuing treatments were painless and convenient, each time my skin got a little softer, smoother, and more youthful. Now, as you can imagine, after 3-years plus of regular microdermabrasion appointments, I am completely ecstatic with the results. Finally I wanted to purchased my own microdermabrasion machine. Luckily, my aesthetician pointed me to the Sylvan Company and now I perform the treatments at home with a friend. I will do her face and she will in turn do mine. This machine is the best value I found for microdermabrasion machines. I have compared all of the professional machines and noted all of the important parameters .
What is important when considering to purchase a microdermabrasion machine?
· Abrasion force and suction force of the tiny blaster and minicompressor
· Abrasion force 32N and suction force 68-70mmHG (for high quality aesthetician rated equipment)
· Other functions provided by the machine
As you will find out the expensive diamond microderm abrasion machines in the $2,000- $3,000 will have the above parameters. The NV-07D microdermabrasion machine has the abrasive force of 32N and a suction force of 68-70mmHg. We purchased the NV-07D for $589 and it is also a multifunctional machine with ultrasound, hot/cold treatments, and skin scrubber. It is very nice to use the cold treatment after microderm abrasion treatments. So after three years of treatments:
· No more age spots
· No acne scars
· Less wrinkles - fine wrinkles have disappeared - lines around mouth have disappeared
· Reduced stretch marks
· Younger and healthier skin
· Frequent comments that I look much younger than I am (about 7-years younger)
I now have healthy, glowing, beautiful skin and that is something that I could never say before microdermabrasion. The research evidence shows microdermabrasion will increase the production of elastin and collagen fibers in the skin.

A Consumer’S Perspective Of Microdermabrasion And The Microdermabrasion Machine

The newly abraded skin will look a little pink and can be a tiny bit inflamed for a few days. This new skin will be softer, smoother, more even appearing skin. The first time that I tried the procedure it was done with by an aesthetician using a professional microdermabrasion machine. However, I have many friends who have tried the procedure using do-it-yourself home microdermabrasion machines. These home machines, or kits are not really microdermabrasion and do not yield the same positive results as a professional microdermabrasion machine. I now have treatments done every three months and my skin is youthful, smooth, and as beautiful as it was before I was a teenager and experienced acne. The aesthetician at my spa uses the NOVA NV-07D that can be found at Sylvan Company.
What can microdermabrasion machines be used for?
· Rejuvenation of sun damaged skin - face, back, neck, shoulders, arms, legs
· Reduction and elimination of age spots
· Minimization of blotchy skin coloring
· Elimination or smoothing of fine wrinkles
· Extraction of blackheads and whiteheads.
· Lessening of oily type skin.
· Reduction of acne scars and other superficial scars, elimination of some scarring.
· Reduction of acne
· Improvement of overall skin health and skin capillary circulation
I have now been receiving microdermabrasion treatments at my spa for three years regularly. I receive treatments once every month now. My skin is has never looked better and I less wrinkles, no sun spots, no acne, reduced scarring and look many years younger than when I started. I would recommend microdermabrasion machine treatment to any of my friends and family. I am so glad that I have found a non-surgical, non-invasive solution that works so well.

Own A Professional Microdermabrasion Machine for the cost of a few treatments

Traditionally performed by nurses, aestheticians and cosmetologists, microdermabrasion treatment can range and differ on the number of sessions recommended. Microdermabrasion home kits come in all shapes and sizes. And can range from inexpensive do-it-yourself lotion packages to medical and spa machines costing several thousands of dollars. You can divide the microdermabrasion machines into two separate categories: 1) Crystal Micro dermabrasion Machines and Diamond Microdermabrasion Machines.
The cost of microdermabrasion in a medical setting is usually more expensive because of the presence and expertise of a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon. RNs and other medical technicians can be trained to provide this treatment. Medical microdermabrasion treatments are often provided as a compliment to other more invasive procedures. Medical microdermabrasion systems are the most expensive, being the most specialized, costing up to $25,000. Treatment prices range from $100 to $200, and are often offset by combining other services. But here is the secret nobody is telling you. The microdermabrasion machines only fundamental specifications that matter from a treatment/clinical standpoint is the Force of suction and the diamond tips vs crystal tips. The high quality medical microdermabrasion machines have a suction force of 30N or 68mmHG. Diamond dermabrasion is quickly becoming the preferred standard for many reasons.
So whether in the comfort of your own home, at a health spa, or under the supervision of a medical professional, microdermabrasion technology empowers you to seriously beautify your skin at a reasonable cost, without the risks involved in laser therapy, harsh chemicals, or traditional surgery. This technology empowers you to experience serious skin improvements from home, at the salon, or in your dermatologist’s office without the inconvenience and risks involved with surgery, lasers, and chemical peels. Diamond dermabrasion is now available from aestheticians in salons, or there are even some clinical grade Diamond microdermabrasion machines available for under $600. Wouldn’t it be great to have a professional microdermabrasion machine that would pay itself off in 4-6 treatments?
Now get a professional facial in your home at a fraction of the cost. The average microdermabrasion treatment in a spa or doctor’s office costs $100 to $300 each and usually requires 6 to 10 sessions (plus monthly maintenance thereafter). You will be amazed at the results your own machine will give you — in the privacy of your own home and at your convenience.
Microdermabrasion machines are usually packaged with micro-crystal or even diamond tip applicators that can either be natural or synthetic. The hand held resurfacing wand usually comes with different applicators and foams. With the power of micro-crystals or diamonds mixed with creamy emulsions, the wands are specially designed to reach and buff hard to reach levels of the dermis. The advantage to this all-inclusive diamond dermabrasion home or clinical system is that the resurfacing wand allows you to more deeply cleanse and polish pores while giving your circulation a healthy boost. At the same time gently abrading motion also stimulates blood flow and rapid skin cell rejuvenation through its therapeutic tissue massage. This electronically controlled micro-tipped wand can offer a broad selection of power in wattage, balms, and can receive a variety of heads. The massage action of the wand actually speeds the process of cellular generation, leaving your skin feeling brand new.
Diamond Microdermabrasion treatment is known as a minimally invasive dermatological procedure as compared to laser resurfacing or even chemical peels. There is no doubt that it is more affordable than cosmetic surgery. Microdermabrasion will enhance your skin with high quality professional implements available in fine salons, spas and the doctor’s offices. For the first time a commercial diamond microdermabrasion machine is available for the cost of just a few treatments. The NV-07D is Sylvan Company’s patented 4 in 1 multifunctional diamond micro dermabrasion machine with ultrasound, skin peeling, hot/cold hammer functions as well for under $600.
